Dr. H. Keipp Talbot is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine in 2003, a fellowship in infectious diseases in 2006, and a Masters in Public Health in 2007, all at Vanderbilt.

She is a member of the Vanderbilt Center for Quality Aging and evaluates vaccine efficacy and effectiveness in older adults. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and serves on the planning committees for IDWeek and the Annual Conference for Vaccine Research. She runs several large influenza surveillance studies and is also an alumni of the 2008 Ninth ADVAC course.
